These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the UV Report iOS application (the "App") and the uvreport.app website (the "Website"), together the "Service", operated by UV Report ("we", "us"). By installing the App, opening the Website, or using any feature of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

You may use the Service if you can form a binding contract with us under the laws of your jurisdiction. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (see the Privacy Policy).

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, and to access the Website for personal, non-commercial use. The App is also subject to Apple Inc.'s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which govern your relationship with Apple as the App Store distributor.

3. Not Medical or Safety Advice

UV Report provides general information about the ultraviolet index and sun protection. The "time to burn" estimate, sun-protection tips, and the on-device summary are general guidance only and are not medical advice. Skin response to UV varies by individual, medication, altitude, surface reflection, and many other factors. Do not rely on the Service for medical decisions. If you have concerns about sun exposure, skin cancer risk, or a photosensitive condition, consult a qualified medical professional.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
• interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity, security, or performance of the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App, except as expressly permitted by law;
• use automated means (scrapers, bots, headless browsers) to access the Service or extract data from it;
• resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or any data obtained through it without our prior written consent;
• misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity in connection with the Service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of data. UV index data is sourced from currentuvindex.com and the optional Sun Window from Apple Weather; we do not guarantee its timeliness, completeness, or accuracy. UV conditions change rapidly and reported values can lag actual conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall UV Report or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) US$10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

7. Third-Party Data and Services

The Service depends on third-party data and services, including currentuvindex.com (UV index, licensed under CC BY 4.0) and Apple Weather (Sun Window). This data is provided without warranty by those providers. We are not affiliated with them, and they do not endorse the Service. Your use of any third-party data or service is also subject to that third party's own terms.

8. In-App Purchases (Tips)

The App offers optional, consumable in-app purchases ("tips") that support development and remove advertising for a period of time. Tips are processed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. Tips are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew. Ad-free time granted by a tip is a convenience and is not a guaranteed service level.

9. Advertising

The App displays a limited number of ads served by Google — never on Apple Watch, in widgets, or in Live Activities — which you can remove with a tip. We do not endorse advertised products and do not control their content. Your interactions with advertisers are between you and the advertiser.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the App's source code, the Website's content, the UV Report name, and the UV Report logo, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.

11. Changes; Termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or any feature, at any time without liability, and may revise these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Sections 3 through 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
